About Our Chapter
The Beta Chapter Alumnae organized to both offer support to the Beta Active Chapter and to offer
means for its members to stay connected with their sisters after graduation.
The Beta Active Chapter, located at South Dakota School of Mines & Technology, was founded by
19 young women on January 1, 1985 and locally recognized on February 6, 1985.
Our alumnae chapter was founded July 8, 2010, 25 years after our initial Active Chapter installation.

The Alumnae Chapter currently assists the Active Chapter in a few philanthropic endeavors each
year. The Alumnae Chapter also offers a bi-annual scholarship which the Active Members of the
